The Pumpkin of the Year tradition began in the early 90s, when Jack Pine introduced it as part of his booth at the Circleville Pumpkin Show. Each year, he created a new design just for the season, giving people something to look forward to, talk about, and come back for. It quickly became a tradition collectors followed year after year, building curiosity around what the next release would be.
